All About Me
Hi! My name is Theresa McNeely. I love being an educator and am so excited to be teaching in a half year position at the kindergarten level. I attended Kutztown University where I received a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I was a daily substitute for a few months before being hired as a kindergarten teacher. I taught both full and half day kindergarten for the Oley Valley School District for 8 years. During my tenure I went back to school and received a Masters in Elementary Education.
I am married, have two beautiful little girls, named Mackenzie and Savannah, a cat named Peanut and a tank full of fish. My older daughter Mackenzie, who turned 9 in September, is in 3rd grade at Jaindl Elementary. She loves school! My younger daughter, Savannah, is 6 years old and in first grade this year. She loves to meet new friends and be in the "big" school like her older sister.

In my spare time I love being with family and friends, relaxing on the beach, exercising, and reading. I am also busy attending soccer games, dance, cheer and swim practices, and various playdates, trips to the park and the occasional ice cream treat!

I loved spending 4 years at home being a mommy! It has been absolutely great. I have been truly blessed to be able to enjoy that time with my family. During the 2016-2017 school year, I had the pleasure of filling in for 2 maternity leaves. I was able to teach both kindergarten and 2nd grade in Parkland. Last year I spent the whole year in Kindergarten. This year I did a half year long term sub job in Kindergarten. For the remainder of the year, I will be a daily sub for elementary level grades. I am looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing a variety of schools and grade levels.
